My approach to training delivery is to
involve the learners in achieving their objectives. Each session that I
facilitate includes practice, feedback, demonstration, exploration, and
discovery. Sessions move quickly from activity to activity with
opportunities for people from every learning style to explore in ways
that they find useful.
One of my specialties is delivering blended learning programs and
making teleclasses and webinars interactive, results based methods to
economically deliver learning to geographically dispersed teams. This
approach works best when it is combined with other forms of learning
but can also serve as a useful stand-alone technique.
In addition to my training techniques I bring a variety of stories to
each session to help illustrate key points and bring skills to life.
These include accounts of my life in various fields including fire
fighting, film making, acting, insurance operations, leadership in both
for-profit and not-for-profit organizations, music, and parenting.
Diversity is highly important in my delivery -- making sure that each
learner, each style, each need is addressed and covered.
