Team Building
Ask any leader to name the biggest challenges and you are likely to
hear "building a team" as one of their primary concerns. No matter what
business you are in or what organization you lead, team building is a
large part of what it takes to achieve your goals and create lasting
success.
Bringing people together to focus on the tools and techniques of
building a better team takes a leadership commitment. That's why at
Doug Smith Training we translate our years of team building and
leadership development experience into a no-frills event that will help
your team focus on its mission and purpose, set about the hard work of
achieving meaningful goals, while also surfacing and resolving the
sticky issues that often stand in the way
No Ropes or Nets
Teams can be built in many ways and we applaud the innovations and
adventure associated with outdoors ropes courses or scavenger
hunts. We just don't do them. Instead, we have used our over 25
years of corporate business experience to create events that focus on
real work, in real time, with the people who are in charge of that
work. While there is certainly fun and the joys of accelerated learning
techniques and guided discovery, this is no-frills development.
Teams that we have worked with have saved time and money while emerging
closer, more open, and more effective. We facilitate the team building
event in just one day, and we do it at the location of your
choice. Why not bring the benefits of team building into your
organization without all of the types of non-business gimics that some
peope simply resent.
